Jocieli Costa dos ReisAccredited Practicing Dietitian | Nutritionist and Fitness Instructor
Jo is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Her passion in health, fitness and the human body developed over the years creating a unique balanced approach to a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition.

A keen interest in healthy eating along with having a very active lifestyle led Jo to studying a Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics and undertaking further studies in Fitness, Public Health and Supplementation for Sports. Jo follows a client centered approach assisting people on the management of a number of medical conditions as well as diet related issues.

Her passion is to educate and empower others about their bodies and health using a personalised approach, translating evidence based information into simple dietary advice and encouraging people to make better food choices.

Matthew KanPracticing Exercise Scientist | Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Matthew joins us at Body and Bone Clinic after much experience working within high performance sport, particularly within the areas of sports science and strength & conditioning. His sporting background as a swimmer for 15 years has spurred his interest and passion for working within all areas of health and fitness. Having completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Sydney University Matthew continued his studies, gaining a Master’s degree in Sports Science.

Along with his role at the clinic, he holds a position as a strength and conditioning coach at the South Sydney Rabbitohs; combining his knowledge within the fitness and sports industry to provide a more holistic approach to health. Matthew’s ultimate aspiration is to provide people with the tools and information to improve their current lifestyle.

Kenny MerlevedeSenior Physiotherapist
Kenny is a passionate, driven Physiotherapist with 10 years experience as an independent Practitioner across Physiotherapy, Manual therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. He completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Ghent, Belgium in 2006.
After graduation, he immediately completed another Masters degree in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy followed by postgraduate studies in Manual Therapy. Kenny worked in a number of private practices and has since concentrated on musculoskeletal problems and sport injuries.
Kenny’s key physiotherapy interests lie within low back pain, neck pain and headaches, core stability and sports injuries.

Kenny believes in holistic physiotherapy and is passionate about identifying and addressing the underlying cause of your pain rather than just treating the symptoms.
In his spare time Kenny enjoys running, fitness, swimming, soccer and basketball. He is a marathon runner and played basketball in competition for over 20 years.

Giuliana (Julz) NannettiExercise Scientist
Julz joins the team at Body and Bone after recently completing a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Sydney. Her personal training background, coupled with her experiences as an international representative Powerlifter have inspired her to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry.

Julz is now pursing postgraduate qualifications in high performance sport, and along with her studies and role at the clinic, she is also completing a strength and conditioning internship at the New South Wales Institute of Sport. Julz takes an evidence-based approach to empower her clients with the knowledge and skills to improve their health and wellbeing.

Laura QuickfallRemedial Massage Therapist
Laura is a qualified therapeutic massage therapist. Her knowledge is enhanced with a background in dance and marathon running, providing her with a true connection to the body and understanding of the needs of athletes during training and after events.

Laura qualified in 2016 and has been working with Lead Therapist Coby du Preez to fast track her knowledge and ensure she provides comprehensive body reading and personalised soft tissue treatment plans. Laura follows the muscle medicine philosophy of a deep connection and understanding of client goals. She engages a holistic approach to the functional treatment of soft tissue injuries using a range of treatments including remedial massage, myofascial release, trigger point, lymphatic massage and Kinesio Taping and cupping.
