Giuliana (Julz) NannettiExercise Scientist
Julz joins the team at Body and Bone after recently completing a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Sydney. Her personal training background, coupled with her experiences as an international representative Powerlifter have inspired her to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry.

Julz is now pursing postgraduate qualifications in high performance sport, and along with her studies and role at the clinic, she is also completing a strength and conditioning internship at the New South Wales Institute of Sport. Julz takes an evidence-based approach to empower her clients with the knowledge and skills to improve their health and wellbeing.

Kenny MerlevedeSenior Physiotherapist
Kenny is a passionate, driven Physiotherapist with 10 years experience as an independent Practitioner across Physiotherapy, Manual therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. He completed his Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Ghent, Belgium in 2006.
After graduation, he immediately completed another Masters degree in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy followed by postgraduate studies in Manual Therapy. Kenny worked in a number of private practices and has since concentrated on musculoskeletal problems and sport injuries.
Kenny’s key physiotherapy interests lie within low back pain, neck pain and headaches, core stability and sports injuries.

Kenny believes in holistic physiotherapy and is passionate about identifying and addressing the underlying cause of your pain rather than just treating the symptoms.
In his spare time Kenny enjoys running, fitness, swimming, soccer and basketball. He is a marathon runner and played basketball in competition for over 20 years.

Lana Parberry Exercise Scientist
Lana completed her Bachelor Degree in Exercise & Sport Science and has 9 years experience working in the fitness industry. She was obsessed with playing sport from a very young age and played soccer for 19 years at an elite level.

Lana always struggled with her weight growing up. Despite training and eating well, losing weight was always an uphill battle. She was diagnosed with PCOS and Insulin Resistance at 21. Having these struggles myself her very passionate about helping others with their health challenges and educating people to change their lifestyle to be healthy and achieve their goals.

Nathan PlaskettExercise Scientist
Nathan joins the team at Body and Bone as a passionate high performance specialist after recently finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, a Master’s degree in High Performance Sport and becoming a Level 2 coach with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.

In conjunction with his role at Body and Bone, Nathan is currently working as one of the sports scientists/strength and conditioning coaches for the Wests Tigers u20’s and as a casual sports scientist with Football Federation Australia.

Nathan believes that education and inspiration combined with a holistic yet evidence based approach, are the keys to reaching any health and fitness goal. During his free time, Nathan enjoys attending Sydney FC games, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Helena Serret Administrative Support & Exercise Scientist
Helena joins the team at Body and Bone after recently completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. Being a soccer player for 12 years lead to a further interest in the science of human movement and biomechanics.

With experience as an Exercise Scientist, she has a passion for healthy eating and active living. Her aspiration is to drive others towards strong mindedness and self-empowerment with an interest delving more into the holistic side of health and nutrition coupled with exercise science. Helena hopes to continue her professional development by studying a postgraduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.

Bronwen Greenfield Accredited Practicing Dietitian
Bronwen’s lifelong interest in health and fitness are what drove her to pursue a career in nutrition as she loves to help others achieve the healthiest version of themselves. In her practice she exhibits her caring and understanding nature to provide her clients with realistic and achievable advice. With a love of all things food, Bronwen enjoys cooking and creating innovative recipes, allowing her to work together with her clients to come up with easy healthy recipes to help them achieve their goals with a refreshing touch.

Bronwen has been able to build her skills as a Dietitian through a variety of positions including St George Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital, The Australian Red Cross and the St George Mental Health Unit. From these varied experiences, she understands the complexity and diverse nature of each client and recognises that everyone’s needs are different. Since then she has been the contracted Dietitian for a variety of Aged Care Facilities over NSW and worked together with fellow Dietitians to conduct healthy eating talks and demonstrations within Sydney.

Growing up with a sporting background, Bronwen was actively involved in a range of competitive sports including National athletics, cross-country, swimming, soccer and basketball. As such, Bronwen has developed a keen interest in sports nutrition, having worked closely together with the St George Dragons NRL team last year to create various meal plans for players.

Bronwen’s main interest areas include: Sports nutrition, Metabolic health, Coeliac Disease, Food allergies/intolerances, Gastrointestinal surgery, Renal/kidney diseases, Diabetes, Cardiovascular health, sustainable weight loss, weight gain, weight maintenance and general healthy eating plans.

Laura QuickfallRemedial Massage Therapist
Laura is a qualified therapeutic massage therapist. Her knowledge is enhanced with a background in dance and marathon running, providing her with a true connection to the body and understanding of the needs of athletes during training and after events.

Laura qualified in 2016 and has been working with Lead Therapist Coby du Preez to fast track her knowledge and ensure she provides comprehensive body reading and personalised soft tissue treatment plans. Laura follows the muscle medicine philosophy of a deep connection and understanding of client goals. She engages a holistic approach to the functional treatment of soft tissue injuries using a range of treatments including remedial massage, myofascial release, trigger point, lymphatic massage and Kinesio Taping and cupping.
